Product Description
Description of RPG2X10 V2: The RPG2X10 V2 is a very versatile and great sounding system. This is a complete system that includes (2) Speakers, a powered Mixer, (2) wired microphones, (2) stands, and all the cables you will need. This system is great because it is powerful and loud and has great sound while still being very portable. The system has 800 watts of peak output, 400 watts Program power, and 200 watts RMS. This system is loud enough for multiple applications. You can use this as a DJ system, in bars, auditoriums, schools, churches, karaoke, and more! What I love about this system is that it has a 4 channel mixer built in. This is the heart of the system. The mixer will give you full control over your sound. You can control your mic channels and your source volumes independently to get the exact sound you want! This mixer also has built in Bluetooth so you can easily transmit audio from your phone or Bluetooth MP3 player to the system. There is also an SD and USB for more listening options. We also added effects to this mixer to give you more customization options. This has reverb and digital delay on each channel. The mics we included with this system are our Rockville RMM-XLR mics. These are very rugged metal mics. They sound fabulous and have a great feel to them. We have seen brands that include cheap plastic mics in their systems. We spent the extra few dollars to include top of the line mics! We went with 10 inches speakers because it is the perfect combination of high power handling and portability. The speakers sound great. If you want an expandable and versatile complete system that has a lot of power and great sound quality, then we recommend you check out our RPG2X10 V2! .

The system, right out of the box sounds pretty good. The amp is pretty straight forward and easy to set up and use, and I like that it has more microphone inputs than I'll ever need (8). The two microphones that come with it have been criticized, but I must say, they actually sound really good. I'm used to the gold standard Shure SM58s, used by so many musicians and karaoke shows. These mics, while not quite up to that speed, do have a very good sound. No shame in using them in a show. Overall, this is very good system for PA, Karaoke, or even DJ work. Now, here's how to make in an excellent system for just a bit more money...REPLACE THE SPEAKER CABLES!!! Another reviewer had mentioned where he got twice the volume after getting better cables. I can attest to that. I built my own cables using Power Plus 12-2 speaker wire, Neutrik NL2FX connectors on one end (speaker side), and Switchcraft 184L connectors on the other end (amplifier). WOW, it made a huge difference. The sound is much more clear, the bass deeper, and I now turn the volume knob on the amp up only 1/2 of what I used to and get the same amount of loudness. It really does sound so much more clean. So ditch the tiny little cables that come with it and buy or build some good quality cables. You won't regret it. So far, I love the system. Great deal for the price, but it's only 4 stars with the speaker cables that come with it.

The directions are simple and easy to follow. You can hookup 4 microphones if you want, as well as talk while music is playing. It comes with 2 microphones which in my opinion are good quality. Again it’s crucial to follow directions with the audio setup.
Bluetooth works great, as well as the audio hookup via the USB.
Speaker stands are great quality with multiple height settings. Strong and sturdy, also allows for a swivel motion.
Really powerful sound and I all excellent product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 👏🏻

With that said, my next purchase included 50' XLR mic cables to replace the shorter cables that came with the system. I did the same for the speaker cables. I also purchased a heavy duty extension of 50' as well. The one that comes with the AMP is far too short. There's no guarantee that your power source will be close at hand and you don't always have the luxury of scouting the space beforehand. To round out my personal upgrades, I also purchased a couple of heavy duty surge protectors with multiple plug outlets to use with the new extension cord. You never know how a function hall is going to be laid out (especially older ones or outdoor events) and have to be prepared. My next upgrade was to replace the microphones. The ones supplied are cheap; I don't care WHAT the ad says...they are NOT professional mics. I have been in enough studios and on enough stages to know the difference. I wasn't expecting them to be anything special....they're fine as back up pieces in an emergency, but I'm used to using my workhorse Shure SM-58 mics which I already had on hand along with a wireless mic I also owned previous to this purchase. The microphones provided are not well insulated against picking up noise from just handling. I've tried them out and in my opinion, these are "at home", sing along mics. I wouldn't take them seriously if you are a singer. These are basically thrown in to sweeten the deal. One should always remember that you get what you pay for, so don't expect top notch at this price point. I also ordered windscreens. I've used this system a few times now and have been happy. It exceeded every application I have needed it for, and I'm talking sizeable Banquet Halls, Churches and other large performance venues, including outdoors . What I like is that it's straightforward...no unnecessary digital tech thrown in just for the sake of change. Your grandma could operate this without too much instruction. The digital tech that is present for the use of memory sticks, SD cards /MP3 files is easy to use and the remote control feature lets you start and stop tracks at will. I didn't need an expensive system and stuck to what I felt the best value would be that also presented the right degree of ease when using it, or setting up / breaking down. There are wheels on the back of the speaker housings and unlike the old days.....NONE of this stuff takes 2 people to handle. The speaker stands are excellent, I would suggest making the upgrades I mentioned for more flexibility....especially an extension cord and multiple outlet surge protector power strip. A small table/stand for the amp is recommended....

the amp head unit made a hiss...tried every wire// input.. just cheap electronics ...
they said 400 watts per channel... so 200 watts rms.... i would say more around 100 watts rms...
i tried the speakers on a 100 watt stereo amp i had.... they sounded louder and cleaner than the 800 watt head unit... I would build your own system, and use a higher quality mixer///amp combo....the speakers were the best part of the setup...and the stands..
