So so, but don't expect a great movie

So so, but don't expect a great movie
The movie was okay I guess. I went in with very low expectations and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. A fairly original story that was marred by bad acting and poor pacing within the film. It's worth the $12 to buy it, but anymore than that would be pushing the envelope.2-2.5 * out of 5*

I liked the movie, a lot of drama and a few twists and turns. In reality the various crew members from different nation-states would not turn on each other. Astronauts are a rare breed of people that are vetted to deal with high stress events and having the ability to not freak out. Most Astronauts must pass very strict and rigorous psychological tests so they are not a threat to themselves or others while stationed at the ISS. The ISS is a neutral entity. The countries may fight it each other but it would never happen on the ISS.

I wasn't too impressed with the movie, but maybe that was just me on that day. It just seemed like they could only do so much with the movie as it only focused on 1 location (the I.S.S.).

It might have had more going fo it if the movie went back and forth from conflicts on earth, then stuff going on in space.

A great cast, well executed special effects and tight script and direction make this a winning and unique end of the world flick. Oscar-winner (for West Side Story) Ariana DeBose is very effective as the newbie on the ISS who, like the rest of the astronauts, has some secrets that become exposed as the claustrophobia of the space station and the devastation on earth below take their toll on every one. The realism of the film makes it a bit more depressing than, say, 2012 or The Day After Tomorrow, but it’s very worth a watch.

This movie was very entertaining to watch. It was worth the rental purchase.

The whole movie builds up to nothing really. The plot sucks. There's a nuclear war on earth so US and Russian astronauts have orders to kill each other. They are scientists not soldiers. The hilarious part is they have no internet or communication is down. You are a floating satellite in space and you can't communicate with anyone? Dumb. I don't understand the strategic value of a space station you probably can't use now or even man because earth is now devastated from nuclear war how could either country launch a rocket to space now to rescue or service the ISS? The ISS relies on supplies from earth like food and fuel which now they don't have but they are just gonna start killing each other... just don't watch it.

The plot was interesting and we have a home theater so space movies always deliver expansive scenes that really show off that capability... But the movie itself was kind of... meh. Predictable. It wasn't "bad" it just wasn't really good either. If you're looking for a date night movie that you don't plan on watching... you know what I mean... this is a good choice. You can keep up with only 1 eye on the screen some of the time. If you want to actually be drawn into something and enjoy the movie itself... keep looking. Hope this helps.

I have been super excited and long awaiting the price to rent to drop so I could watch. I was a little disappointed. This movie could have been soooo good, but it honestly just didn’t ever get exciting and was just kind of blah
